There are 5 main things you need to do to begin the branding process online.  Your focus is to brand you as an expert in your field.

1. You need to have your own domain name with your own name like most people, adriennefranklin.com. You may need to get creative if you have a common name and use whoisadriennefranklin.com or adriennefranklinonline.com or, like I have adrienne-franklin.com.
2. You need to somewhere to host your domain and install a WordPress Blog. WordPress is simple to install, easy to setup and use and is well recognized by search engines.
3. You need to have a professional autoresponder and place a form on your blog to capture subscribers.
4. You need to post articles relevant to your business, product or service and you need to record and host videos. Yes, it’s time to record videos!
5. You need to get traffic to your website. Social networks, Traffic exchanges, List Builders and Article marketing all offer great ways to get traffic to your site.

These talks are given every Saturday and her husband Don gives an inspirational message.   He is running a series of 13 messages.  We are up to number 8.

Janet finished today by telling us how we can turn Lemons into Lemonade. She and Don say that everything starts with thought and we must view everything optimistically.  She said that there is a good side to everything if only we can see it.   She told us of all the things that could have been viewed as being bad, but which she turned round turning sharp lemons into lemonade.

In Build Your List you were told that Lead Gusher was one of the 3 programs Janet Legere invites you to join first when you subscribe to her Earth Friendly Biz.    It is a Lead Generating program.    Those who join are invited to pay a one time fee and have their web site submitted to the search engines.    The more it is submitted the higher it rises in them.

As you join it as part of EFB Janet gives you the keywords to insert into the appropriate place.    But as with all other forms of advertising it is a good idea to use a Tracking Device.   One is included which we will look at in a later post.

James Stone, the owner of Lead Gusher is also a partner in EFB.    Janet says she was looking for a program to put in just this slot when she relaunched EFB and that she has known James Stone for quite some time and his program was a perfect match.

People like to know those who they are doing business with. The theme running through all the training Janet Legere gives, both in GVO’s training room and her own is that you must Brand Yourself. This is the title of a series of messages supplied by GVO that she advises people to put on their blog and invite people to sign up for them by giving their name and email address in the box on her blog.

This is supplied by GVO via the autoresponder they provide as part of the pack you get when you subscribe. But this is not all. They, as you were told in earlier posts also provide an autoresponder, and Easy Video Producer. On Thursday she told us about something else that is provided and that is your own Hot Conference Room.

She told us that, like her, those that set it up can give desk top training. What happens is that when you log into it, you can go to your CPanel and show how to use that, the autoresponder, or whatever else you want to show people how to use.

You won’t be on the internet long before you start to experience ‘information overload’.   You will be told that the program someone wants you to join is the only one on the market that will establish you as an internet marketer and earn you money.   It might, but only if you do exactly what the program requires you to do.   You cannot concentrate on more than a couple of programs at one time.

Before joining a new program ask yourself if it can be incorporated into what else you are doing.    For instance you could purchase PLR products on the niche you are in.   Everyone needs places to put ads subscribing to safelists, traffice exchanges, list building programs, would also be excempt.

The thing to do is decide what you want to concentrate on get it up and running and when it is running on auto-pilot then move on to something else.    But whatever it is you are doing has to be put on your main blog, which as you know, is the one with your name as the domain name.

The one thing you should not do and that is advertise an affiliate program, because all you will be doing is paying, either in time, or money, or both to send them to someone else.   If you leave that program you have lost them forever, but even if you don’t you cannot contact them to tell them about others programs, etc.

I have mentioned Janet Legere and the fact that she is one of the trainers with GVO in quite a few post and the fact that I met her and her husband at the conference I attended in Las Vegas in March this year.   I this post I want to tell you about a program that she launched in 2007 but has recently changed by bringing in new programs and making ones that were included earlier more central to the program.   It is called:

She says that all the programs are ones she uses herself and that what she tells us to do is what she and others are already doing and when the steps she gives are followed the people using the program experience similar results to those she achieves.

These are only the core programs others are included, but she advises that these are up and running before going on to the others.    She holds weekly training sessions when she concentrates on one part of the system.   These are recorded and put in the back offfice of those who upgrade and also on her blog, which everyone has access to.

Another thing you are advised to do I attend conferences and get to know those who do the same thing.   Confernces can be held in conference rooms (posts have been done on these) and also in hotels.   Janet Legere has been mentioned in earlier posts in connection with the training provided in the Conference Room owned by GVO and I met her and her husband Don at the Conference I attened on in Las Vegas from 25th to the 30th of March.    I also met others from GVO including Joel Therien the owner.

Below is a picture of me taken with him and Marshall Sylver who was the person who put the confernce on.   Joel and others had met him at an earlier conference they had attended which he had spoken at and persuaded him to give a deal to those of us in GVO who attended the training in the conference room.

The hotel we stayed at was not in the center of Las Vegas, but on the outskirts in the Red Rock District.   I arrived on Thursday 25 March and on Friday 26th joined a coach tour of the district.   A post with the pictures I took will be done so, but here is one I took from my bedroom window.

This is just an introduction more will be said in later posts.

Traffic Stacker is a new site that says it guarantees more CONVERTING web visitors and online advertising with very little effort or cost.  So I decided to put it to the test…

My first impression was the site looks professional and clean, with an attractive look and feel.  It is easy to read and understand.  Joining the site was easy and painless–they do offer 2 upgrade options but they are not required to gain the benefits.

The Members Area is very well laid out and intuitive–I could figure out what to do after only a few minutes and was able to get up and running in less than 5 minutes.  Inside the site, you create links and ads–the links you simply enter any URL links you use into the generator and it transforms them into “Traffic Stacker” links.  You create ads for anything you want to promote using the Traffic Stacker Ad Generator, which is very easy to use.  You can create as many links and as many ads as you like.  And they are organized in a logical way–links are displayed in the order you create them but also your 5 most recent links appear on the main page for quick reference.  Also, since the link generator is the tool you’ll use most, it is also right at the top of the main page when you login.  Very smart!

After you’ve created at least 1 link and 1 ad you can start to generate traffic.  Just use and promote the new Traffic Stacker link instead of the original source link you had.  Every time the Traffic Stacker link is clicked, the page loads followed by a cool slide-up ad window at the bottom.  It displays an ad PLUS an image with your affiliate link that goes back to Traffic Stacker.  So if anyone clicks the Traffic Stacker image they see the site, and if they signup they become your referral.  It’s a great viral feature because you can build referrals without even trying to just by using the site.

Now every time the ad window displays (your Traffic Stacker links get clicked) you earn credits that get YOUR ad displayed in the ad windows when other members’ links get clicked.  So the more clicks, the more times your ads get displayed.

And this works virally–meaning as you make referrals into Traffic Stacker (either by promoting it or just using it and visitors click the Traffic Stacker image on the ad window to join) you also earn ad credits on THEIR link clicks.  And this works up to 5 levels deep.  So you can create a massive amount of free ad views and web traffic by referring others to Traffic Stacker also.

I didn’t get to test the full effect of a big downline yet (I just got the tool) but I can tell you the rest of the site works exactly as stated–my links got clicked, I earned credits, and my ads got displayed.  Traffic Stacker even tracked my results so I know how many clicks and how many ad displays.  That was an impressive unadvertised extra feature.

There is one more benefit and feature which might be the best of them all–downline emailing.  You can email your downline with offers, promotions, or whatever you like, and here is where Traffic Stacker really shines.  They took time to make the emailing often enough that it’s valuable as a user, but no so often that it’s a burden to your downline.  But the best part about this feature (and actually the credit earning too) is that it tells you exactly how long until you can mail again.  Now THAT’s cool.

Overall I have to say I am impressed with Traffic Stacker.  It is simple yet powerful, and delivers on its promises.  Highly recommended to anyone who wants to increase traffic and advertising.

One of the first things you are told when you enquire what to do is find out what people are searching for and give it to them. The reason for this is that many people come up with what they think is a really good product that has taken a lot of time and money to produce only to find out that no one wants it…..

How you do this is by putting a keyword or keyword phrase into a program that is designed to give you this information, such as Google’s Keyword Tool.   This is free and being a Google program can be relied upon to give you accurate information.

Once you have this information the next step is to see how much competition there is.   You may think “I don’t want any competition”, but this is not how you should think.   Competition is good, as it means there is money to be made in that niche.

This and similar programs are good as far as they go, but do not address the problem of where to go to get the offer you want to make in front of those who want it.    The thing to do is to use it to build your list and then ask your subscribers what they want.   This is really targetted traffic and is what G V O has been doing lately.

Joel Therien, the owner of G V O has a blog and sends an email to his subscribers when he updates it.  The last few weeks he has conducted a survey asking subscribers what things they wanted to make life easier or more productive for them.

After reading the comments people had made he reported that those who were new to internet marketing wanted  step by step instructions starting with Do This First, then this and so on.    A series of videos have been produced along these lines with more to be added.

We were told during training that the information already existed, but was not chronological which was what was asked for.   This has now been done.

Those who had been doing internet marketing for some time in the main wanted more features in the autoresponder.    This is being provided.
