New Years Eve 2011

It is New Years Eve 2011 and at 12.00 midnight it will be 2012. Now is the time to take stock as to where we are and how to proceed in 2012. We can make plans in our head, but if they stays there only what is the use.

What we should do with a New Years, or any other Plan is write them down and be as specific as we can. If we have a plan to follow with detailed steps with the time needed to do them when we sit in front of our computer and know that we have, say 30 minutes, we can do something that will take that time and then tick it as having been done.

I have just been at a New Years Eve conference put on my Janet and Don Legere to bring this year to a close. They spoke and then asked if anyone else wanted to. 4 people chose to do so and told us what their short and long term plans were. Janet said that made their plans so complicated that they were difficult to follow.

She referred us, as she usually does to the Resolution Success System which is a plan Devlyn Steel, who is their mentor and the owner of Tools to Life, a coaching program which those who belong to it visit each day and do the exercise(s) contained in it.

New Years Eve Plan

Janet asked us if we were going to be at the conference she is putting on in her home city of Calgary, Alberta, Canada in April next year. Most of us are hoping to be there. She sdid the the Keynote Speaker will be the above mentioned Devlyn Steel.

Among the other New Years Eve goals mentioned were: loosing weight and improving health, getting out of debt. All those who spoke said that they were grateful for the training Janet provided and that they wanted to do the same thing. Everyone has a talent that they can use to benefit others.

The key, everyone agreed was thinking correctly, knowing what you wanted to achieve and following your passion. If you hate
what you are doing you will give it up.

New Years Eve and what the Plan contains

The one thing the Plan must not contain is where to advertise a program you are an affiliate for. That is unless it provides a means of you getting the name and email address of those who sign up for it. Janet recommends a Funded Sponsoring Program such as Traffic Lead 2 Income and/or Second Income Coach. Both of these allow you to choose which autoresponder to use.

Other programs that do the same are those produced by James Stone. The newest of these is Prospect Geyser, which also has a Safelist and a Traffic Exchange.

The Plan must contain:

A program that allows you to build your list

An autoresponder, to collect subscribers name and email address.

Review of 1 Click

Advertising is something every internet marketer needs. Up to recently this meant placing an advert is one place and then another or the same one somewhere else, which is extremely time consuming. In some programs, such as Traffic Exchanges you could put one or more site you wanted people to join in, ensure you had enoughcredits and leave it. But all this has changed with 1 Click.

Jane Mark and Phil Basten have just launched this, their new advertising site which they have called: 1 Click Marketing Machine which describes what it does. It is in pre-launch at the moment.

All you have to do to make 1 click work is:

But you onlydo so if you want to only advertise one site on 1 Click. If you want to advertise more you can upgrade. Like many of their sites if you upgrade immediately you join you get it at a lower price than you would if you upgraded later and if you leave it too long you will end up paying even more.

Unlike some of their other sites this is a paid site, but it is only a One Time Payment not a monthly one. Like their SoKule site the site you enter is advertised on 2000 good advertising sites. They say more will be added.

There are different levels, but the best one to go for is the highest because this will give you Founding Member status, with benefits not enjoyed by those on lower levels.

Those who buy the upgrade packages will be given SoKule sokens, the amount depending on what level you upgrade to, with Founding members receiving the most.

1 Click and other benefits

As well as using it to advertise your programs you can also use other places to advertise it. You get paid a percentage of what those who upgrade pay, so if you bought near the start and advertise after the price has gone up you will soon get back the money you paid. But at whatever level you are at you can advertise it and earn money.

You won’t be on the internet long before you are told that the quickest way to get yourself, and/or your site on the first page of Google is by writing articles. They have this taken care of with another of their sites Kule Search. Here you buy keywords and if someone else wants it they can buy it from you at a higher price than you paid and you also earn a commission.

But if you don’t want anyone to buy it the best way to ensure they don’t is buy linking it to a site you already own, be it your own or one you are an affiliate for.

Search For Keywords and Keyword Phrases

Saturday is, as you know from previous posts, is Conference Day, with me usually attending 2, but last Saturday it was 3. They start at 4.00 p.m. with Joel Therien and his team at GVO,

followed at 5.00 by Janet Legere, her husband Don, and sometimes a speaker. The third one was put on by Jane Mark on how to use her and Phil Basten’s program Kule Search, with special emphasis on Kule Buzz.

Kule Search is a a search engine where you can buy keywords and sell them to make money. You can also buy them and link them to a site that you own, or an affiliate to and get paid by those who want to link to them. Every day a keyword, or keyword phrase is recommended which others may wish to buy and if you don’t link to it they can and you make money.

How Does Kule Search Work

You can join for free, but then you have to purchase KuleBucks, but if you upgrade you are given them, how many depends on the level you upgrade to.

As well as being able to link to a site you can use Kule Buzz and write an article on it. You first have to set it up and when you done this and purchase a new keyword phrase you are asked if you are want to write an article and link it to a site you have put My Linked Sites. If you do you click yes, if you don’t you click no.

Jane Mark said that she looked at some of the articles that had been submitted and she realised that many did not know how to do for the best advantage,

which is to get it on the first page of the search engines, such as Google. That is why she held the conference.

She said that the first thing to do was write an article around the main keyword/phrase you want to use. Then you see what other keywords/phrases are in the article and make a list of them and put them at the top of the article, starting with the main one. Below this put the links to the sites you mention in the article, to put them in, when you set up the article.

Kule Search Keywords and Cost

Some keywords are really expensive, sometimes costing thousands of dollars, but many of them are only $0.200. Often if you join 2 or more words together, such as buildalist, instead of build a list, they are very much cheaper and lower case words are cheaper than those which have uppercase characters.

Before you get any keywords you want to know how much competition you will have and equally important who they are. If the front page of Google is occupied by big well known firms you should consider whether you should go for it because you don’t stand much chance of replacing them. You also want to know how many people are searching for it.

To find out who the competition is go to Google and put it in and see what comes up. To find out how many searches there were in the last month go to Google’s Keyword Tool and put it in and you will be told. You will also be told if the competion is high, medium or low. Once you know this return to Kule Search and see how much it is.

If it is too expensive try the tips mentioned above.

Training on Saturday 17th September 2011

As usual (see Adrienne Franklin Blog) on Saturday’s I attended 2 training programs. The last few weeks Joel Therien told us about the new program he had just released under the GVO label. This was Host Then Profit. He said that he had been asked for it by those who were promoting his Titanium Package, which is $44.95 on the grounds that those starting out couldn’t afford it and didn’t need all the tools provided, or rather didn’t need so many, as they were unlimited.

G V O Training

The first one was put on by GVO and the speaker was Mark Call, but he just introduced it and invited others to come up and tell us how joining GVO and attending the training they put on had effected them. Everyone agreed that no matter how long we have been on the internet we need training and atleast one mentor. We were told who were the mentors of those who spoke. All of them, some of them only a couple of years ago, had been struggling and not getting far with internet marketing but since joining a training program and/or getting a mentor, all of them from GVO they were now, either where they wanted to be, orgetting there.

Mark Call named Joel Therien as one of his mentors, adding that he had others. He said he was running a training program and introduced us to one of his trainees, who was now a trainer at GVO. one of the people who spoke was Robert Puddy, who said he was learning from Mark, who said this was reciprocated as he was learning from Robert.

Janet Legere Training

The other training was introduced by Janet Legere who, as you know, holds them every Saturday. The last few weeks she talked about her new, or rather the relaunch of one of her earliest progrms: Contact List Builder. This is a training program with a membership site. But this week she had a guest speaker.

It started, as it usually does, with her husband, Don, giving an inspirational talk. He said, as he often does, that most people think that they lack certain things and if they had them they would be happy.

He said that this is not the case. If we think negative thoughts i.e. we need more money, or anything else this is what we will have, or rather, we will not have what we think we lack. What we should do is turn ut around and think that we have abundance.

Most weeks Janet gives a talk about a certain aspect of one of her progrms, but this week she introduced us to James Holmes who told us how to get the most from Traffic Exchanges.

He said that like most people what he put into them was an affiliate link inviting those who saw it to buy what it was he was advertising. He said that this was the wrong thing to put into a Traffic Exchange. What we should put in was a Lead Capture Page inviting people to give their name and email address, to be stored in your autoresponder, in return for something of value, i.e. a book, a series, of videos, etc.

Unlike others who set up their own Traffic Exchanges he decided to purchase established one and has recently acquired S.W.A.T. Traffic and BootinScootin Traffic. But he is not the only person who has acquired an established program and like them is changing them to suit himself.

He said we should join one program at a time and get it setup, using all the tools that are provided. He said that one of the most negelected aspects of Traffic Exchanges was the Downline Builder which allows subscribers to put their link in the place provided for all the programs they are already members of and to join those they are not, but only after they have the one they are on is set up.

Among the other things provided are promotional aids, but both he and Janet said not to use them in other TE’s, etc, but to build your list and let your subscribers know how you are getting on with them. He said to always use a tracking link so you can see how you are doing and to drop those who are not getting you subscribers.

To close we were told that Training is Good, but you have to put what you learnt into practice.

No one is born knowing how to do anything and need teaching on whatever it is they want to know about and this is even more necessary with the internet.

Hosting and Promoting

One of the reasons people fail with internet marketing is because they struggle when it comes to advertising the programs they join. Joel Therien realises this and provides all the tools you need to get people to join. There is a drawback to this and it is that others will be using the same material and people are more likely to subscribe under those whose names they recognise. With this in mind the best way to proceed is to take what you are provided with and rewrite it especially the heading.

As was pointed out in an earlier post the reason it can be put on at this price is because Joel Therien, who is making you this offer owns everything and does not rent it from others as do many hosting companies.

In addition he does not have shareholders who are only investing in the company to make money and have no interest in those, i.e the affiliates, who are bringing the people in and are making them money.

Joel Therien says that they only people he listens to are those who bring people into his business, i.e. his affiliates. The questions I would like to ask you are: Does your hosting company ask you what you want? Listen to your requests and where possible implement them? Do they tell you what they are planning to do? My answer is that mine does.
