Putting things into action was the topic of the training Janet Legere gave on Thursday 5th August 2000. She said that she knew that many of those who were attending were also at other training, but the thing was

Did They Take Action

It was only by taking action, even if it was imperfect action, that they would succeed with internet marketing.   The week before she had asked us to send the post we had done with a video on it to her.  She asked who had done so and 5 including myself said we had.  She then asked us to put the link in and she then brought them up on the screen and looked at them and then said a few words about them.

She said they were all different, and reflected their owners personality.   No one, she said, was experienced in making videos and putting them on their blogs, but with practice they were getting more experienced.   In en earlier post you were advised to Brand Yourself.   This is to become a recognised expert in whatever your niche is.   She said the fact that you have video on your blog gives you an advantage over the 95% of people on the internet who have not.

Action is Good, But Right Action is Better

Janet says that she only recommends what works and if and when it ceases working she takes action by stopping using it and changes to what does work.  Traffic Exchanges, Safelists, List Builders, etc do still work, but what is working even better is Social Networking sites.   The one everyone has heard of an belong to is Facebook and Twitter.    These will be looked at in later posts.

Taking Action and Branding Yourself

The reason for Branding Yourself and Taking Action is so that others see you on many different websites and the higher these rank in Google and Alexa the better it is for you.

So attend the training and then take action on what you learnt.   On Saturdays you can attend 2 lots of training:

GVO at 11.00 EST and with Janet and her husband Don at 12.00 noon.

You are invited to attend both of them, learn what action to take and then take that action.

In the next post you will be told what action to take to get traffic to your blogs.

  1. […] So you much keep learning, put it into practice and persuade others to do the same.   This is the 2nd post I have done on putting learning into action, you might like to read the earlier one I did. […]
